   National children's Month celebration is an annual event for the Filipino children to recognize and celebrate their role as the most valuable assets of the nation.

      Republic act no. 10661 declares that every November as the national children's month celebration with the Council for the Welfare of children (CWC), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and the National Youth Commission (NYC) as lead agencies. This declaration commemorates the adoption of the convention on the right of the children by the united nations general assembly on November 20, 1989 and seeks to promote the importance of it to Filipino consciousness.

        This year celebration aims to advocate safe, caring, and protective environment through positive parenting among parents, guardians, caregivers, and teachers. Parents are the ones who guide their children to success. They play an important role in the development and growth of their child. The increase of knowledge for parents or guardians help in improve their way on how to handle and advice their children. Children are the most common individuals who experience abuse. Some of this are Verbal abuse, physical abuse, corporal punishment, cyber bullying, as well as sexual abuse. This is alarming and without the proper guide children will be prone to abuses resulting them to become less active and anti-social. 

       Enhancing individual capabilities of parents and violence education are one way to prevent and eliminate violence against children. Corporal punishment should also be removed, as it one of the reason why children became less active and alarmingly violent. Giving proper facilities and attractive way of teaching will also help children be active, responsive and more productive. 

       Children's month celebration is important so that awareness to children will be spread and their importance. Proper guide to children will help them grow to be a mature, productive, and disciplined person. Trough that everyone will live happily and children will be properly guided to success and a productive economy is a result. Respect is also what children need and love is what they want. So love and respect them to be a good individual of our community.

         ICT for me is never been easy, especially this quarter. There are a lot of terms, people and essays that you need to writ, memorize and understand.       This quarter i learned how to make a blog. In my last school we focus on computer hardware and system servicing but did not tackle this lesson; about blogging. It is a great thing for me because it adds to my knowledge and to my discoveries, and i know that it will be useful.      The problem that i encounter this quarter is also the blogging. As i have said, i never tried this before, and its a big challenge for me.
